Golden Persimmon | Mini Organic | Handblown Glass Pumpkin

Golden Persimmon is a mini handblown glass pumpkin inspired by the richness of late-season harvests—when sun-drenched persimmons ripen on bare branches and golden light lingers just a little longer. While sculpted in the familiar shape of an autumn pumpkin, this piece draws its color from orchard fruit at peak ripeness, capturing the quiet abundance of the season.

The organic pumpkin shape and sculpted stumpy stem are formed entirely by hand using traditional Venetian techniques and ancient tools like jacks, shears, and paddles. Its combination of opaque and transparent body creates natural dimension, while allowing light to filter through like sun across a fall orchard. Shards of class color in the hues of marmalade, marigold, and toasted apricot are melted into the glass at over 2,000 degrees, echoing the tone and color complexity of a ripe persimmon.

Handcrafted one at a time in our zero-waste studio in Cameron Park, CA. Designed with an open bottom—perfect for adding twinkle lights to illuminate its glow and highlight every detail of this fall fruit tribute.
