Ash & Ember is a handblown glass pumpkin that captures the spirit of October nights spent around crackling bonfires—where shadows dance, stories come alive, and the air smells of smoke, spice, and mystery.
Its palette of ember orange, coal black, and gradients of smoke gray recalls the glow of firelight against dark woods, while streaks of pale ash make their way into the night. The reeded stem, pulled and shaped entirely by hand, rises from the top like a charred wick—blackened but still full of heat.
The combination of transparent and opaque glass gives the piece natural depth and dimension, allowing light to pass through like firelight under a starless sky. Ash & Ember feels alive with Halloween tradition—campfire tales, roasted marshmallows, glowing embers, and the thrill of what might be lurking just past the tree line.
Handcrafted one at a time in our zero-waste studio in Cameron Park, CA, using centuries-old Venetian glassblowing techniques. Designed with an open bottom—perfect for adding twinkle lights to bring its glow to life.
